In a perfect world, Symphony could even run on your toaster. But in reality, there are some things Symphony needs to be able to work. The Symphony installer also doubles as a compatibility checker, so if you're unsure whether or not your server meets all the requirements, why not give it a go anyway?
Your Server

- MySQL 3.23 and above
- XSLT Support (LibXSLT or Sablotron)
- Some common modules: XML Support (LibXML), ZLib Compression Library and
mod_rewriteApache module
Your Browser
- The Symphony admin requires that you use a modern standards-compliant browser. We recommend Firefox and Safari.
